Charmaine joined the Arcora Foundation family as the Senior Executive Assistant to Vanetta Abdellatif, CEO and President, in June 2020. She has more than twelve years of experience as an administrative professional in member-driven organizations. Prior to joining Arcora, Charmaine worked for the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and Public School Employees of Washington, where she supported board members, committees and executive staff.
Although she has called the Pacific Northwest home for thirty years, Charmaine is a native of New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Art from Loyola University of New Orleans. She moved to the Northwest in 1990, where she met her husband and raised two amazing sons, Gabriel and Marcus.
In her spare time, Charmaine enjoys meeting with inmates at the Kent Regional Justice Center, where she works to break visions of despair and bring hope for the future. She also enjoys working out, vacationing with her family and meeting new people.
