Nancy Hammond has been working in the oral health arena since 2001, first as a consultant and now on staff as Communications Manager. Nancy manages The Mighty Mouth campaign a social marketing initiative to motivate people to do more to prevent oral disease. Nancy has several years of experience as a public affairs and communications consultant. She was Vice President at Northwest Strategies, (now Strategies 360) and a Senior Associate with Pacific Public Affairs. She has worked with numerous healthcare clients including the Everett Clinic and Providence Health Systems. Her passion is the intersection of communications and health and the value of concise, clear and consistent messages.
Nancy received her Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Denver. She also has degrees in political science and sociology. A Colorado native, Nancy enjoys travel, reading and gardening. If you really want to see her enthusiasm, just ask about plants ‑ or preventing cavities. Both topics get her pretty wound up.
