Sarah Borgida serves as the Foundation’s Director of Children’s Programs and Tribal Partnerships. She is thrilled to work to improve oral health – an issue she’s passionate about because oral disease is so common, yet almost 100 percent preventable. Sarah has experience in strategic and program development, philanthropy, K-12 education, early learning, partnering with Native communities, and working with immigrant and refugee populations. Prior to joining the Foundation, Sarah was a Program Officer at Foundation for Early Learning and Chief Academic Officer at the Center for Native Education.
Sarah holds a MEd in Educational Policy and Management from the University of Oregon. In her spare time, Sarah loves skiing, hiking, camping, and traveling with her husband and two children. She also loves reading, though she doesn’t read nearly as many books as she should. She’d like to get a dog, but her husband isn’t sure that’s a good idea (mostly because he’d be responsible for taking care of it).
