Andrew Lofton

Andrew Lofton served as the Executive Director of the Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) from 2012 until his retirement in 2021. The SHA provides long-term, low-income rental housing and rental assistance. Mr. Lofton is passionate about building better communities for all residents. At SHA, he focused on serving more people and creating opportunities for residents to achieve self-sufficiency.

Mr. Lofton has dedicated his life to public service. Previous positions include Chief of Department Operations for Mayor Greg Nickels, Deputy Chief of Staff for Mayor Norm Rice and Budget Director for the City of Seattle. Mr. Lofton graduated from the University of Puget Sound and did his graduate work in Urban Planning at the University of Washington.

Andrew is the active Arcora board chair.
