Anna Franklin

Anna Franklin has worked in health care for 3 decades. She is the executive director of health equity/environmental stewardship for Providence central division, which spans 5 states—Eastern Washington, Montana, Oregon, Texas, and New Mexico. Her deep knowledge of the social and political determinants of health has been instrumental in Providence’s efforts to create a more equitable and inclusive society. Franklin is deeply committed to creating opportunities for all, prioritizing racial and social justice, and empowering underestimated communities.

Franklin serves on Gov. Jay Inslee’s Washington State Women’s Commission, Board of Trustees for Community Colleges of Spokane, Empire Health Foundation Board of Directors, YWCA Spokane Board of Directors, Spectrum Board of Directors, and Take Up The Cause Board of Directors.

Franklin’s educational background includes an Associates of Arts degree from Spokane Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Washington University, and an MBA from West Texas A&M University.
