R. Scott Kennedy MD
Scott Kennedy, MD is the Chief Medical Officer at Olympic Medical Center (OMC) in Port Angeles, Washington. He is board certified in Family Practice and has practiced in a variety of medical settings, including four years as a primary care physician and clinical director with the U.S. Public Health Service in Kotzebue, Alaska, and family medicine for 11 years in the Port Angeles area.
Subsequently, he developed the Chief Medical Officer role at OMC where he serves on the Administrative Leadership Team and works closely with medical staff and an array of ancillary services.
Dr. Kennedy serves on the Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) Patient Safety Committee and the combined WSHA and WSMA Medical Officers Advisory Group. The Advisory Group plans safe table learning collaboratives aimed at bringing hospital and outpatient physician leadership together to advance quality and safety initiatives across our state.
Dr. Kennedy graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency at Tacoma Family Medicine.
Dr. Kennedy joined the Arcora Foundation Board in 2015.
