Matt Gonzalez
Associate Program Officer, Health Promotion
Matt joined the Foundation in the summer of 2015. He has worked with nearly every team at Arcora Foundation to ensure programs and procedures run smoothly and best meet the needs of our partners. In April 2022, he moved into the role of Associate Program Officer. In this role, Matt cultivates new and existing partnerships to build a future where more people in Washington can achieve good oral and overall health. He provides a strategic, thoughtful, and fresh perspective—along with a heavy dose of comic relief.
Matt previously worked at the Oregon Center for Children & Youth with Special Health Needs (OCCYSHN), part of Oregon Health & Science University. At OCCYSHN, Matt developed a passion for public health and a desire to improve the overall well-being of others.
Matt serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Entre Hermanos, a Seattle-based non-profit that promotes the health and well-being of Latino LGBTQ+ community members in a culturally appropriate environment.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in New Media Communications from Oregon State University. When Matt is not working, he enjoys exploring Seattle’s parks, beaches, and restaurant scene.
