Vivian Sather

Sr. Program Officer, Networks

Vivian is a connector, listener, and lifelong learner. In her role as senior program officer of networks, she helps further Arcora’s efforts with communities including managing the work of our Local Impact Networks (LINs). Having grown up experiencing barriers to accessing care, she is committed to working with communities most affected with approaches to advance oral health and equity. She wants to further Arcora’s mission so people can rest and thrive.

Prior to joining Arcora, Vivian worked in the non-profit sector in both Bellingham and Spokane. Her experience includes supporting grassroots organizations, improving access to health and social services, and coalition/network-building as an upstream prevention approach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology/anthropology from Western Washington University and a master’s degree in public health from Eastern Washington University.

She is a lifelong Washingtonian, daughter of two immigrants, and a sometimes reader. When she’s not working, she’s hopping on a flight, out on the water with her husband, or binge-watching reality TV shows.
