Joseph Finkbonner RPh, MHA
Joe Finkbonner was previously the Executive Director of the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB) and prior to that was Director of the Northwest Tribal Epidemiology Center (The EpiCenter) at the NPAIHB. He began his work in Indian health for the Lummi Tribe as the Health Director/CEO. Throughout his career Joe has been very active at the state and federal levels to heighten the awareness of health disparities affecting the AI/AN population and to focus action toward improving their health through policy changes. His focus on equity and policy included membership on the Washington State Board of Health, participation in the Washington Public Health Improvement Plan, and miscellaneous workgroups for the Indian Health Service.
Mr. Finkbonner began his work in health care delivery as a pharmacist at Providence Medical Center in Seattle and Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue. A member of the Lummi nation, he holds a Masters of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy both from University of Washington.
Mr. Finkbonner joined the Arcora Foundation Board in 2014 and was active board chair in 2022.
